It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. I am excited about the opportunities we have at hand and would like to share our story.
The Missouri National Guard Hall of Fame was established in 2020 by a group of Veteran volunteers, including me and the Board. The Missouri National Guard Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit organization, Independent of any governmental assistance or influence. This unique organizational structure was executed in order to avoid political pressure or influences. We are excited about our inaugural class, to be announced in 2021.
The Hall exists to commemorate and recognize individuals who have served in the Missouri National Guard or its predecessor the "Missouri State Militia" and who have made a significant contribution to the National Guard achievements, tradition, or history.
We have partnered with the City of Kirksville, Missouri to establish a physical Hall of Fame location and will be temporarily housed at the Adair County Historical Society (211 South Elson, Kirksville, MO) until we move to a permanent home.
We actively seek other volunteers to assist in our mission who served honorably. We also welcome non-Veterans who have a calling to honor those who served. If you would like to volunteer, please send us a message in our contact tab.
