CW5 Prosser of Jefferson City, Missouri began her military career with the Women’s Army Corps in 1974 retiring from the Missouri National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer Five in 1974 with more than 43 years of service. When promoted to CW4 in 1999 she became the first female W4 in the Missouri Guard and in 2015 when she attained the rank of CW5 she became only the second female CW5 in the Missouri National Guard; a truly remarkable achievement. She deployed to Kosovo in 2008 as the Acting G-1 (usually a General Officer position) responsible for all personnel and administrative functions of the deployed elements. She has truly exemplified the Warrior spirit of the Missouri National Guard.
