Jeremy Amick

A veteran of the U.S. Army and Missouri Army National Guard, Jeremy P. Ämick received a medical discharge in 2004 for service-connected injuries. He is currently employed with the United States Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service and volunteers as the public affairs officer with the Silver Star Families of America. Weekly, he pens an article for several mid-Missouri newspapers and War History Online, which highlights the service of a local veterans and interesting moments from Missouri military history. He has also authored several published books on military history and is a member of both the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. Ämick volunteers on the executive board of Operation Bugle Boy, a local non-profit that provides a USO style dinner and entertainment event every year for 500 veterans and their spouses, and is currently president of the board for the historic Enloe Cemetery. He makes his home in Russellville, Missouri, along with his wife, Tina.
